Yosemite Falls -- Upper and Lower.
Just a couple hours from San Francisco, Yosemite National Park is one of the U.Ss great natural treasures. The Half Dome, one of Yosemites famous landmarks looks good any time of day, but especially here just before sunset.
Yosemite is also famous for its spectacular collection of waterfalls. There are dozens of significant waterfalls in the Park, with its most impressive also being some of the worlds tallest falls.
Another of Yosemites famous landmarks is this peak, El Capitan, a favorite for rock climbers.
This past winter I made my first winter visit to Yosemite with my parents and uncle and aunt while my parents were visiting from Winnipeg.
